We welcome Sumer McNitt, RDCS (AE/PE), RVT, for authoring 3 new courses and will be the Chief Developer/Editor for the whole Congenital Heart Disease Series.
"In my professional career I have scanned echo and vascular for the last 15 years in both private practice and hospital settings. I received my education at the Community college of Southern Nevada (AAS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography) cardiac / vascular track. I have also had the pleasure of mentoring several sonographers as they cross train from echo into vascular ultrasound. I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge with others and appreciate learning from my peers as in this field we are all always still learning. Previously co-authored an article in International Journal of Cardiology - Title: Atrial Flutter Has Less Left Atrial Spontaneous Contrast and Higher Left Atrial Appendage Emptying Velocity Compared with Atrial Fibrillation. Currently I am a volunteer item writer for for the ARDMS pediatric echocardiogram registry exam. I have had the pleasure of recently authoring a few new courses for echo-web and vascular-web and hope to continue creating new materials."
