Nickname:  scannerman
Interpretation:  I think that this is a parachute mitral valve. Notice the chordae are redundant and only one papillary muscle is seen. Short axis shows a conical mitral valve and this is also seen in the apical 4.

Nickname:  Jodi
Interpretation:  I saw this last month at our ped's clinic. It is a parachute mitral valve. I only see one pap.

Nickname:  MirsterJava
Interpretation:  Congenital single papillary muscle with parachute mitral valve.

Nickname:  Amy
Interpretation:  One papillary muscle seen Parachute MV

Nickname:  tbright
Interpretation:  parachute mv i think. looks like the picture in the echo pocketbook.

Nickname:  Singleton
Interpretation:  Parachute MV becomes very apparent in short axix LV view and again in apical - severe MS. Inverted view is characteristic of a Peds echo protocol. CHD

Nickname:  PEREZ
Interpretation:  Looks like it might be a parachute mitral valve.

Nickname:  KRedd
Interpretation:  parachute MV reduced mv opening very obvious in sax

Interpretation:  parachute MV reduced mv opening very obvious in sax

Nickname:  JWhittemore
Interpretation:  MVP of AMVL.

Nickname:  Talent
Interpretation:  Reduced EF% and prolapsed AMVL. High velocity antegrade jet is present through the mitral valve. The chordae appear to be part of the dysfunction of the mitral valve as well.

Nickname:  SRobinson
Interpretation:  MVP of AMVL, Severe MR in association.

Nickname:  ldunbar
Interpretation:  congenital form of MS known as a parachute mitral valve in which the chordae all insert into one papillary muscle

Nickname:  bconnolly
Interpretation:  parachute MV

Nickname:  rock
Interpretation:  MVP, MS

Nickname:  eCarroll
Interpretation:  Mitral stenosis due to parachute mitral valve.

Nickname:  SKelley
Interpretation:  MVP and MS

Nickname:  mulj
Interpretation:  parachute mv

Nickname:  peter
Interpretation:  parachute mitral valve

Nickname:  Cava2007
Interpretation:  MS-severe,MV prolaps

Nickname:  Naira
Interpretation:   mitral stenosis (parachute MV) and 1+ regurgitation, aortic regurgitation 2-2,5+, LA and RV dilatation. Reduced both of LV and RV systolic function
